Madeline Chavis is a NC State Licensed and Nationally Certified Massage Therapist.  She holds a bachelors level certification in Manual Lymphatic Drainage from the MLD Institute in Boca Raton, FL.  She began her career in cosmetic surgical recovery and body contouring while working for a local surgeon in 1999 as a certified Endermologist. She also has experience working in cancer facilities and is passionate about helping breast cancer survivors through their recovery process.  She has completed extensive continuing education in the function and pathology of the lymphatic and immune systems as well as the study of myofascial release and scar tissue in how it relates to the proper function of lymphatic flow.  Before becoming a massage therapist, Madeline was trained as an emergency medical technician and a certified nursing assistant.
