Your Questions, Answered

IS LYMPHATIC MASSAGE PAINFUL AFTER SURGERY?

Our lymphatic massage is gentle and painless as we use Dr. Vodder style manual lymphatic drainage.  We do a full body drainage session which re-routes the lymph fluid through it's normal drainage channels and will be eliminated through the bladder.  You should pass significant volumes of fluid within a few hours of your session and experience notable relief.

DO YOU PIERCE THE SKIN TO DRAIN THE FLUID?

We never pierce the skin.  The lymphatic massage frequently used at recovery houses is different from what we do. Our lymphatic massage helps restore your body's natural drainage process, is painless and creates an environment that facilitates rapid healing.

DOES LYMPHATIC MASSAGE HELP WITH CHRONIC LYMPHEDEMA AND/OR CHRONIC CONDITIONS?

It absolutely does.  In addition to reducing swelling with chronic lymphedema, it also clears out old toxins that have accumulated in the body due to exposure from environmental toxins, chemotherapy and radiation, use of pharmaceuticals, smoking and consuming a diet of processed foods.  Lymphatic drainage helps push these toxins out of the body and is effective in treating autoimmune disorders such as rheumatoid arthritis, fibromyalgia, lupus, lymes disease and many other disorders.

DOES INSURANCE COVER LYMPHATIC DRAINAGE?

We do not file insurance as most insurance companies do not pay for massages.  We welcome and accept HSA, FSA and Flex cards.  We understand that someone with a chronic condition may need long term treatment so if you present a prescription or referral from your physician for a chronic condition we offer self pay discounts.  This does not apply to post-surgical lymphatic massage for elective surgeries.  Payment arrangements for post-surgical lymphatic massage are available upon request.  We offer significant discounts with our series package prices.
